A series workshop on DIY smart fashion run at the art-for-mental health charity CoolTan Art started on International Women’s Day event on 4 Mar. The series aim at bring technology and fashion accessible to people and use creative expression to empower individual. Hopefully in later stage of the workshop participants will come up with their own project ideas to creatively express their emotion and I will assist them to realise the interaction. More events to follow.

I really enjoyed the smart fashion wristband (workshop) run by Caroline. I like the idea of using the led light technology and would like to further develop the idea and use this technique within my photography. By incorporating the led lights within a photographic image.” – Stephen, CoolTan Art volunteer

I really enjoyed the event with Caroline – She was so patient with the group and individuals. I really liked the idea of smart fashion/electronic fashion and Caroline’s concept of making it accessible and easy to make.” Safron, CoolTan Art volunteer
